      Pros

      Generally surrounded by smart people who like to work hard, play hard, and solve problems as a team ... which makes for a good team-work and stimulating environment. Also, lately more supportive of healthy lifestyles, with ability to occasionally work from home. Various opportunities for further education available in-house.

      Cons

      Cutting back on benefits recently. Raises have gotten smaller too. Also lately, too much "fluff recognition" (instead of show me the money).

      Pros

      Great salary and vacation time. 12 week training program brings your coding up to speed. Good snacks and beverages. I got to move to NYC and be able to afford it.

      Cons

      Most technology is relatively old. A lot of work is maintenance of code written 10,15,20 years ago. Not much room for innovation especially when all projects are on extremely tight deadlines.
