Pros
The great culture, good internal communication; the philanthropy; the exciting projects. There is a strong will and efforts to move to modern techs, which is no small feat. The involvement in the open source community. Great internal mobility. Amazing compensation & benefits. Diversity & inclusion is discussed a lot internally, but diverse representation is still lacking for the time being in the management chain.
Cons
Plenty of tech debt, sometimes dating from several decades ago, requires courage and determination not everyone might be willing to face. Documentations are of varying quality and freshness. Teams are not all equally well-organised.
