      Pros

      Exposure to large deals coming from Accenture. Majority of projects are sold by Accenture. Benefits are good, but not as good as Microsoft. Great training is provided to develop technical skills

      Cons

      Employee reviews are not accurate. They tell you one thing and then surprises at end of year. HR does not stand up to managers, even when they are innacurate and wrong. when you complain of injustice nothing happens. Lots of travel required so work life balance is not good. pay is lower than market.

      Pros

      Avanade is a good place to work, stable company with good benefits, the think that I like the most is th variaty of assigments that I have had during the three years that I have been working for Avanade and the career development opportunity.

      Cons

      I feel that there are too many management levels and that we don't have a strong sales force, we depend on Accenture Sales force to get contracts with Microsoft

      Smart people slowly morphing into Accenture

      Pros

      Excellent benefits for mid-sized consulting firm, mostly smart people, some great projects, decent community activities. Great networking opportunities, and wins work in fun places to travel to.

      Cons

      worrisome review process with little employee involvement, up-or-out mentality that makes some tech-friendly folk leave and keep only the business-friendly. Slowly being taken over by Accenture in policies and work assignments. Losing a lot of the young-company perks that made it a hit with its employees.
