      Fast pace growth in career if you want to work hard

      Pros

      Project based consulting will give you a lot of experience very quickly. Will have access the cutting edge Microsoft technologies. If you prove yourself and drive your career, Avanade will take risk and let you accelerate quickly. Ability to move around company Internationally with ease. Great training and access to Avanade and Accenture resources. If you are in consulting, you are the product and are treated well. World class training.

      Cons

      Not for people who want an "8 hour day" career. Must be self driven to progress. High chance of travel if not located in a client area. Many times sub to Accenture. Moderate pay to other consulting companies.

      Pros

      You get to meet great people, and they pay for your Microsoft Certifications.

      Cons

      If you're on the bench, be warned that you WILL BE laid off. It doesn't matter how much the recruiters keep saying that you won't because they are lying.

      Pros

      - Current Technology - Globally Connected - Laptops issued have phones/headset, MS LYNC - Fantastic Methodology (for SD, PM, etc. - well planned out and people trained) - Push Employees in Training/Certifications - Great Place for Someone Right out of College - Good Mentors - Pay is in Line with Market

      Cons

      - Not much say in Projects You Get Assigned To - They don't even ask if you are interested - Totally don't understand the capabilities of some of their staff - A very senior level person may be assigned to a very junior level position (this is more than frustrating and people will leave if they are not challenged - Not at all impressed with BDMs - they go to client sites and don't say hi to company employees (we ARE providing part of your paycheck Mr. BDM), while on the bench BDMs may not return calls, etc. - if these folks are in sales, they should have GREAT relationships with both customers and consulting staff - You have a standardized methodology - why are only some projects using it?
