The constant reorgs within the past year or so have been a real morale sucker. With the shift headlong into AI and projects scoped around that, the shunting of core competencies like cloud migrations or desktop modernization onto the back burner has really created an atmosphere of being devalued, for those who are in those fields. Also, if the project lead doesn’t like you or feels a certain way about you, forget it — you’ll be put out to pasture real quick. Even if you have the skills, even if you did your work, even if the client is impressed with your experience and expertise, none of it matters — just pack your bags…
