      Priorities always shifting

      Pros

      - It appears as if the top leadership really does care about making AppD a great place to work - Fully stocked kitchen with a ton of free food

      Cons

      - There is no strategy. There is talk about "strategic initiatives" but really all of the middle management "leaders" just chase the next shiny object which changes about every 3 weeks. This makes it hard to bring anything meaningful to the finish line. - There are very few good leaders. The rest do not know how to lead a team. AppD has been offering leadership courses. The courses are evidently are not helping. - Your job will surely change within weeks of being hired. And then change again every few months. - This is not a collaborative place to work. Very competitive - even within teams.

      High Tech Environment that Stifles Personal Growth

      Culture, Surrounded by Talent, Hyper-Growth, Fun Environment to be in

      Cons

      Payouts often incorrect with no resolution in sight, poisonous office politics, very hard to move around in the company, many in management don't care about personal growth.

      Culture Needs Work

      Pros

      Good people, great benefits, convenient office location, and some of the senior leaders are great & care about making the company successful.

      Cons

      Since the recent acquisition left the office culture needing work. The face pace and demanding atmosphere is exhausting, and there is little reward for hard work. It's a very reactive environment and there is basically zero work life balance, hopefully they're working to solve for this.
