Pros

The members are the only pros

Cons

You're whole experience will depend on your ownership, but you should never tie your boat to that dependency. Zero growth. Zero accountability from your branch to Corp. Some of the most inexperienced individuals I've met in this industry work for this company. 60% of the franchises are failing. Most Owners do not update equipment even after they pull membership dues from clients. High turnover. Zero continuing education.

Pros

Holidays off and able to earn extra days off with more memberships sold.

Cons

Micro-management makes it feel like you're not trusted or "own" the club. You feel like a child. No opportunity to move forward unless you're perfect and go through a six month course where only one person is chosen to move forward. Extra work, no extra pay and you're probably not going to get it. There is so much I could list, so much. This company is great on paper, but so terrible when you're actually here. The business is so manipulative and doesn't actually care about their members.

Pros

Dealing with customers and building positive relationships. Part of the top ranking club in the nation and increased overall memberships. Making some good friendships with staff and owners around the world. Highest reviews in the nation a small which was nice.

Cons

Dead end job no career advancement. Dealing with the owner who had no business sense and rude customers on daily basis. The C2i isn't very helpful and takes weeks before they get back to you. You get zero recognition for being a top club other than a computer generated message from Anytime Fitness. There really is no assistance from a corporate level and must rely on the individual owner. It comes down to a lot of "rah rah" company events meetings that you must go or pay a penalty. They pay is below average and no health benefits.
