The People who come to workout are very nice and fun to help.

Cons

NO chance for promotions, the manager is not just terrible at managing people but also a bad person all around.

gym membership tanning free shower! never super busy so machines are free friendly members quiet clean flexible hours

Cons

the job ad said "light cleaning" but I ended up cleaning the entire gym top to bottom during a shift little training so you are forced to learn quickly as you'll be on your own most of the time management doesn't check in periodically on you not much room to grow part-time only (no benefits)

Gain valuable experience in a variety of business tasks from management to sales. This would be a great management position for someone looking to make the transition from a personal trainer or sales consultant to a general manager position.

Cons

GM's day is usually broken up into two shifts. Example: 8am-12pm and then 3pm-8pm. This schedule makes it hard to have much of a life. Pay, hours, and culture are determined by the franchise owner. If they pay well and have a great attitude, then this could be a great position. However, if you are unlucky like myself and find yourself with a franchise owner that is clueless when it comes to the fitness industry and mismanages founds, then it can make for an unpleasant experience.
