Pros

You get to interact with great people from different areas in the business and globally.

Cons

Rigid promotion process that does allow you to negotiate salary throughout your career. Thus, it causes issues for talent retention. You'll have to develop yourself and seek opportunities to enhance your skills via affinity groups or outside of the organization.
