Accenture puts a significant focus on developing people, they have a "university" in St. Charles, IL that is their global training location. I continue to use the Accenture network as a building block in my career. Provides the ability to learn the inner workings of large enterprise clients across various industries and geographies. If you enjoy travel you will rack up tons of frequent flier miles. Career path is well defined, performance is evaluated based on specific standards. All in all a large global firm full of great people.
Cons
There is a significant amount of travel to far away places that is required. Potential to get pigeon holed in a specific technology and spend many years of your career focused on doing the same type of work over and over. For some career progression is slowed due to the size of the firm and the pyramid structure. The organization is extremely large and may not offer the individualized career path provided by small firms.
