Pros

variety of work assignments - Accenture works with hundreds of clients in all major cities in the US. career development - Consultants get access to senior leadership on a daily basis - tough to match this experience if you are working "in the industry". If you tire of living the "consultant lifestyle", there are opportunities to move into a Services (Outsourcing), Solutions, or Enterprise (internal) role. smart/fun co-workers - Accenture does a great job of hiring smart, personable, hard-working, dedicated people who really care about clients and co-workers. work/life balance - Accenture provides up to 6 weeks of PTO each year plus 10+ holidays.

Cons

salary - Accenture's compensation strategy is to pay employees at the 50th percentile compared to industry peers. They are committed to a "pay for performance" bonus structure that has, to date, been paid out each year.

Pros

Exposure to top-end, big-league business projects, budgets & challenges; travel; training; solid resume value

Cons

serious travel for extended periods; very high standards of performance (nearly all very talented, serious, focused people - no mellow folks need apply) so odds of "making it to the top" definitely reduced per the high quality talent pool
