Pros

Interesting and wide variety of work. Great client portfolio.

Cons

You are very much at the whim of the economy and will be working on client priorities, which may or may not reflect your own interests.

Pros

In general, a great place to launch a career and a nice thing to have on the resume. You'll have more exposure than you would at just about any other "normal job." You'll also meet a ton of interesting and intelligent people. The work can be very interesting, but that largely depends on the type of work you end up doing.

Cons

Depending on the project you land on, the work could get boring and the project management could be terrible. Compensation should be a bit better, even with the economy. Travel can certainly be a negative, but since this is a consulting company and travel is a given, it's not fair to list it as a true con.
