Amazing People and Loads of Flexibility

Pros

I have loved working at End-to-End Analytics over the better part of the last decade. The people at the company are a great bunch. They are smart, hardworking, fun, and always interested in new experiences. The company offsites are amazing, and the regular social events and happy hours are top-notch. The project work is also typically great, as the company pursues projects that will be analytically interesting for all involved. And I've always been able to maintain a great work-life balance.

Pros

Sharp focus on digital and technology, mostly aimed at the CIO/CTO rather than the CSO. Collaborative culture. Incredible network of resources, centers, hubs, and labs. Some very capable leaders with strong client experience and global, industry-wide relationships. Growth opportunities and career changes within the organization

Cons

Very strong focus on "chargeability" even in longer terms strategy and growth areas, which can impact a long-tail vision. Frequent operating model transformations/restructuring can be annoyingly distracting, re-shifting people and priorities like a game of moving dice, but they do not always feel necessary. Work-life balance is project-dependent, but even on lower workload weeks hours are long, as in every consulting firm. Promotions and advancement is very dependent on the leaders you work with and sometimes can feel nepotistic. Lateral, innovative thinkers are often lost and not always rewarded. Being such a large organization, bureaucracy is heavy
