Pros

1. Modern working arrangements, including remote work and flexible hours. 2. Competent and understanding management. 3. Endless training and development opportunities. 4. Relaxed yet professional working environment. 5. Mature tech stack and exposure to bleeding edge tools and techniques. 6. Best cafeteria in the industry, by far! 🥐

Cons

1. Slow career growth, but offset by good bonuses and decent annual salary increases. 2. Inconsistencies in culture across teams. 3. Competitors are better when it comes to core banking services and digitization. 4. Frequent leadership changes at the top levels mean that business structures and reporting lines get shuffled quite often.

Pros

Various teams treat data science differently; some take a more software development approach, using Git, unit tests, and Jira. Others take a more analytics-focused approach, dashboards, campaigns etc The former tend to use tools like Databricks and PySpark, while the latter lean more towards SAS and SQL.

Cons

This applies to all companies; it's usually not properly announced which style a team prefers until you've landed on the team. More efforts could be made to make things more transparent about things
