Thank you for your review. We value all feedback we receive in order to continuously improve our employee experience and our processes. As in most organisations, at Alten we believe in progression based on merit. We expect our employees to strive towards excellence and deliver to high standards first, to be eligible to rewards such as bonuses or promotions, which subsequently lead to a pay rise. Once joining Alten, every consultant attends an Integration Meeting with a dedicated Career Manager, which is followed up by individual quarterly meetings in order to ensure both the consultant’s career and project are going in the right direction. Each year is wrapped-up with a formal Annual Appraisal, during which numerous topics are tackled such as Skills Development, Salary, Career Progression and Training. Through this robust career follow-up process, Alten ensures we stay committed towards our employees personal development in the organization. Diversity: joining Alten allowed me to work on many different sectors (Aerospace, automotive, energy) and to interface with a wide variety of customer Learning cure: If this can looks like a lot, being involved on 3 activities (Recruitment, Business development, Management) allowed me to develop new skills and give me the confidence to one day run my team/business in the company or elsewhere Career development: Alten's management is asking a lot (KPI, Performance) but is ready to give you the opportunity to take responsibility even at a young age. In less than 3 years, I have been able to evolve 3 times Mobility: Alten is allowing its team to move. More than 50% of my team member requesting a mobility have been successful. Team spirit: Every day not being easy, you can count on your colleagues to give you advices and help you to achieve your objectives

Cons

Fix salary: the salary for BM in London is low. This can be compensate by your bonuses, but those are not easy to get. Hours per week: The job requires spending a lot of time working per week in order to achieve your objectives.

However, I wanted to address a couple of your specific concerns here. At Alten Group level, we managed to achieve a leader position on the Engineering and Technology consulting market with now more than 37,000 employees, and it is precisely because we put our people first. The same goes for Alten in the UK. Career development is at the core of the ALTEN LTD model and is managed thoroughly by dedicated Career Managers ensuring the continuity of the development of each consultant. The Career Management scheme is materialised by an Integration Meeting after the start of each engineer, and then by individual quarterly follow-up meetings in order to ensure both your career and your project are going in the right direction. Each year is wrapped-up with a formal Annual Appraisal, during which numerous topics are tackled such as Skills Development, Salary, Career Progression and Training. There are also follow-up meetings from a project perspective with the account manager. Then obviously, if you feel that this is not enough and would need more follow-up with your manager, I invite you to have a transparent communication and share your needs with them.
