So, where do I start?? There are plenty...
- Lack of AUTONOMY: Alten UK has excessive interference from their Global HQ which leaves the UK Management with little to do or show for, the serious lack of autonomy disturbs even day-to-day administrative tasks thereby causing frustration and agony amongst the UK management which they may or may not choose to display but they definitely pass it on to their peers and mentees. The company seeks approval of HQ from administration to management to talent acquisition to talent management to retention, where the masters sitting in their Global HQ have zero to little consideration for the culture, values, and traditions of UK work-culture. The employees are employed in UK, managed in UK, they deliver for UK market but are MONITORED by people in HQ!
- POOR TALENT MANAGEMENT
- Lack of structure in administration
- Serious communication gaps between employees and management, the shameful part is that within management as well
- Lack of HR strategy which is visible from alarming attrition rate and deplorable reviews on Glassdoor itself
I will add more details in the coming weeks!
