Slavery with extra steps

I went into discussion with them in the hope to better their image and themselfs but saldy without any outcome. When I try to think about anything positive about this company, there is nothing. So no Pros at all.

Cons

They steal days of vacation from you, they don´t appreciate neither have an idea about the work task performed at the client. Very unprofessional, arrogant und short thinking management.

Pros

Exposure to major engineering customers and projects. Easy to gain experience in multiple areas if you are flexible.

Cons

Not specific to Alten, but it is a consultancy and hence is closely dependent on short term customer requirements. These requirements can be stable or unstable depending on the customer or general environment. Working as a consultant requires flexibility and the ability to deal with uncertainty and when customer requirements change you may find yourself having to adapt your skills or even be without work for a while. This is the life of a consultant and this should be taken into account before joining a consultancy.
