      The least favorable consulting company in the area

      Pros

      - get you a job really fast if they have client who wants you - get you a chance to step in the area where there are quite a lot of opportunities

      Cons

      - lowest salary amount all the consulting companies in the area (Sophia Antipolis) - lie about actual salary and living cost - little improvement for career - ignorance from management (who have no idea of your working performance etc, just managing paper work so that you get a contract from their client. They are doing nothing more than work agency's job) - hire large percentage of foreigners so that they have no idea how much themselves really worth

      Pros

      If you want to get some employment experience because you are fresh out of College, is ok, for a short run. But do not stay long. If you are an experienced with hopes to grow your career this is not the place.

      Cons

      Alten is impersonal and the time I worked there never felt part of it. Lame excuses not to invest in their consultants to make them want to stay is insignificant. Their management rotation is high so it is for field consultants. No investment on their people and little sense of a company if you are a consultant.
