Pros

You get the first refusal of reduced food. Paid breaks. Can listen to music before the store opens. First pick of special buys. Free will writing service.

Cons

Monotonous work (it's like groundhog day, everyday). Constantly working with no letup. Only 30 mins break on a 10 hour shift. Labour intensive. Pay is overly complicated, Getting a thank you is a rarity. ZERO work life balance. Good luck getting a weekend off without having to use your holidays (unless you're management).

Pros

Work life balance was great and only two days required in office. Good industry knowledge.

Cons

Pay is not competitive nor enough for what is required of the position. Given the layoffs of the position it comes off that they do not value this role. Yearly reviews were basically pointless as they don’t come with a performance based raise. No bonus. Additionally no next step from this role.
