- Upper management appear disconnected from day-to-day realities and rarely engage with employees below senior level. - Little to no recognition when people leave, no announcements, no thank-yous, no leaving events. - If management decide they no longer want you, they often move people to the “bench” and give unrealistic or impossible tasks until they leave quietly. - Communication is poor, decisions are made at the top with little transparency leaving teams uncertain and undervalued. - Culture can feel toxic, with pressure to work long hours without proper acknowledgement or support.
