Explain your past experience within water treatment. How do you handle conflict at work? What supervision style do you work best under? -that’s all I can remember at the moment, and I’m sure they were worded a bit different. But more or less it was your basic screening questions. Very few of them. Nothing technical was asked until after the formal interviews.
Why did you apply for this job?
There were no surprising or particularly difficult questions. "Why do you want to work here" was probably the most difficult. The other questions were predictable, because they requested examples of prior experience accomplishing particular tasks closely related to the position duties (e.g. water quality modeling).

If you have a dispute with one of your coworkers, how would you go about taking care of it?
They had an aptitude test which was basically a personality test with some math. It was pretty silly in my opinion, but they seemed to care a lot about it. They mentioned it as a factor for why I got called back for a second interview.
