They want you to have experience in information security, they ask a lot of experience based questions. This was a brand-new role, and a lot of the questions were really based around how they should build this role out, what you think the role should look like, etc. They have NO clue what metrics would look like or really how they want to format the role.
What motivates you to come into work in the morning?
How do you protect your engineers? How do you prioritize impeding projects that have hard deadlines? How do you motivate your engineers who are frustrated with monotonous work?
Lots was asked about previous experience and differences in role being interviewed for. Team seems technically competant.
