Actually the role they were hiring is not that senior at all, but they were pressing into the details, what I wrote on my CV, showing skepticism and questioning if the information I gave (technical information) were truthful information. The questions were actually not related to the position that they were hiring for but they just wanted to keep questioning you to see yr responses.
