Technical Interviews: Design a distributed system to handle some of the filters on the indeed.com page. This was a bit unreasonable as I was going through the interview, the interviewer gave me a reason to believe he already had a solution in mind and I somehow needed to read his mind. It was actually an uncomfortable interview. Felt it was very biased towards the interviewer point of view. Besides, when was the last time you actually get to design a distributed system from scratch? The next part of the interview was a code review , some kind of simple code to review but if you do not code everyday don't expect to pass this either. Same feeling, the technical interviews are one-sided and biased towards the opinion of the interviewer. It seems is a hit or miss and who does the interviews. A fail in the Indeed hiring process in my opinion.
