SQL Questions 1. Write a SQL statement to get list of all students whose name starts with 'a'. 2. There is a employee table which consists a list of all employees of a office month wise and the columns are id, name, salary and month. You have a write a SQL statement to get a list of top 3 salary getters for each month. Probability Questions 1. There is biased coin in which probability of getting heads is 3 times more than tails, you toss the coin three times and and each coin toss is independent. What is the probability of getting at most 2 tails. 2. There are 75 students in a class divided in 3 equal groups of 25 each, you have to pick 2 students from these 75 . What is the probability of picking both students from same group. 3. There are 5 black balls and 10 red balls in a basket. What is the probability. That the third ball you picked will be black ball and what is the probability that the last ball you pick will be black. Data structures Questions 1. What is the best sorting algorithm and what is its time complexity in each case( best, average and worst). 2. Explain merge sort and how does t work. 3. How do you find square root a number without using Math.sqrt function. 4. How do you find if the given number is prime or not.
