Rather strange process where you were pre warned about the questions and what would be considered the acceptable and unacceptable sorts of answers. Therefore negating the point of an open and honest interview. Started ringing alarm bells about group think and an overly controlling company.
Technical questions were asked such as how to manage a oarticular risk

Question about risk metrics (VaR, option risks, product control, etc)
Apart from a challenging role, what kind of team and colleagues do you prefer to work with?

STAR format questions. ie Tell me about a time where you faced a difficult situation and what did you do to resolve the problem. Prep was provided as a guide for answering such questions. The final round was more standard questions. Strengths/ weaknesses, long and short term goals, what do you bring to this position, etc.
