Q. What is the purpose of the hashCode() method? Ans. The hashCode() method generates a unique integer for an object, aiding in efficient data retrieval in hash-based collections. Used in hash-based collections like HashMap and HashSet for quick data access. Returns an integer value, which is the hash code of the object. Two equal objects must have the same hash code (consistent with equals()).

First round is just all about basics in core java. Its very easy to clear, they will say they would get back to you in a day or two, but after few days a project manager round will be conducted and its a hell of a round, where you get asked to write a controller, dao, service and asks each and every question related to project. its really hard to convince that guy in Hyderabad. Dont waste your time in attending the interview. not sure if they have any valuable projects or not. Not sure about the salary. They keep you waiting most of the time even after 2 rounds are completed. Dont get involved and look for better companies.
