Project Management related experience and qualifications. Clearly director was not so capable and shockingly assigned a leadership role.
HR questions included basics about location, work history, a chat about background checks and an open floor for questions about the company, and benefits. Links to benefit packages were sent in advance, which were very helpful. Hiring manager interview questions were mostly based on the "tell me about a time" model, with ample time to provide my feedback and tie my skills to the motivating question. Follow-ups from the hiring manager were supportive, constructive and well-thought out. This was a positive sign that this would be a good fit for me.
