What are you strengths and weaknesses
In the task/challenge interview I was asked to put together a bug report. I was asked to explain my reasoning and thought process and why I chose to prioritize certain bugs. I enjoyed the challenge because, although it was straightforward, it was also slightly ambiguous, to see how I would deal with unclear situations. The entire hiring team was excellent. They were helpful, friendly, and responsive throughout the entire process. This gave me a really good insight into the culture of the company. My entire experience was extremely positive.
What do you know about Ping's products and services?
I was asked a number of questions with regard to collaboration and teamwork. My role will be remote as will many if not all my colleagues.
Install an opensource DB and add to it a few lines entries representing a table. Install NginX http server on the bellow Windows machine. Configure it to: To be executed as a service (use nssm: https://nssm.cc/scenarios) Configure it to play audio files at specific path (only mp3 files) Configure it to work on port 8080 http Create a page accessed via the NginX http server that will communicate with the DB on section 1 and will show the existing table. This page can be accessed only by a preconfigured user/pass validated with basic authentication.
