Please prepare a short writing statement (between 200-500 words) in response to the following prompt: One of the roles of a Business Partner is to understand the current state of a situation, gather additional information, and respond quickly to concerns. Please read the attached fictional email and draft an email response - outlining your initial thoughts about the situation, what additional information you would be interested in collecting and what advice you have for the employee. Interview was fairly unstructured, felt quite unorganised. General questions asked about experience, salary expectations
Basic introduction questions and questions about my experience. Also some behavioral questions, asked to describe a certain situation
When have you identified a process issue and how did you correct?
Basic screening questions. They didn't even look at the CV sent to them but rather were depending on LinkedIn, which is not a resume/CV.
The interview questions for my role were very straight forward, asking about past roles and experience, strengths and weaknesses, a few hypothetical scenarios pertaining to the role, and just general conversation to assess personality.
Project asked for me to build my own 90 day plan for success in the role.
