Salary was the first question he asked in technical interview
I wasn't asked any real technical questions. they are running single node Oracle databases from the ancient ( and most likely no longer supported ) Oracle 8 to Oracle 11. they are using Oracle's "Advanced Replication" feature which was advanced ten years ago. the local office has the support staff but didn't seem to have any managers. all development is outsourced to India and Russia.
Most of the questions were related to the work and the database stuff. There were some in-depth questions dealing with database internals.
