The interview consisted primarily of "test" type questions, "what would you do if X occurs?" or "what are some ways to deal with Y problem?" Because this was a management position, I was also asked about dealing with conflict and managing junior staff.

Asked me to describe my current project and was going through the details I put in my resume, and asking me questions about that. He asked me about the flow of the software I was currently working on.
They asked a lot about my job history, and how I made things scale. (Which was basically a load balancer, and sharding). When asked very specifically about how to scale something beyond that this didn't seem to suffice for an answer.
