They advertise for skilled interior designers with large amounts of experience, however the real position from their management teams is to only care about ‘what you can sell from their lackluster inventory and how fast you can sell it’. This is the number one question throughout the company culture.

This is hard to answer as I interviewed years ago. They asked deeply psychological questions all over the board including about my childhood. I appreciate the thoroughness and dedication to finding the right people, but it’s imperative to then actually pay those people what they’re worth.
