Defining the position they wished me to perform was the most challenging part of the negotiation. Suggest having a clear idea of the work you are able to perform and the position title that will best allow you to perform it. Title does matter. Ask questions about which regions/business lines are profitable and what equipment/staff is available to help you perform you job. Within WHPacific, some business lines and regions carry better support and resources than others and it is important to gain a sense of where you will stand within the company before an offer is accepted.
