There were many detailed questions with a multi interview hire. However the thing that was very obvious was the passion in the company and the the importance of the team and new hire.
Why Braintree? Background? Nothing about account development skills, pipeline, oral presentation, technical acumen or leadership style.
Why do you want to leave your current role / position?
What kind of accounts did you work with?
All questions were about current/past roles… basically walking through your career journey. No pointless behavioral questions were really asked. The project was most time consuming… basically proving you know how to put a general presentation together in PowerPoint.
