Electrical Intern Interview Questions

11,032 electrical intern interview questions shared by candidates

The first technical round was easy and mostly consisted basic questions of analog electronic circuits, OPAMPs, I2C, SPI and basic C questions. The second technical round was more difficult and consisted around 10 questions on Opamps, ADC, wheatstone bridges, C functions, pointers. The questions on opamp were difficult. An opamp circuit was given and I need to analyze it and identify the circuit or what would be the output. Easy ones included summing amplifiers, differential and integral amplifiers, and some others were mixed so it was a bit complex. They will ask lot of questions on projects from your previous company so be ready and thorough with your past projects.

Be ready to talk about anything on your resume, even if you think it was not sufficient. I was asked about experience that I had >10 years prior. When I had mentioned that I had experience even before the oldest jobs on my two page resume, I was asked why I had not included them. My response that it was too old to be useful, would make my resume too long or require the removal of more relevant information did not seem to be a satisfactory answer.
