I don't remember a particularly difficult question. Most were standard for the field (explain a situation where you handled multiple projects on different deadlines, explain how you communicate with authors - especially potentially difficult authors, and explain your experiences dealing with different aspects of the job).

Describe a time you made a (professional) mistake and what did you learn from it?
Typical questions like overcoming blockages, how would you solve a difficult task, etc.
