Many questions about my background and several, "tell me about a time you...". One specific question was "Tell me about a time you implemented an innovative solution."
Tell me about yourself. If you could fill your day (8 hours) with one aspect of the job, what would you do? If there is one thing I told you that you would have to do for 8 hours, what would you absolutely not like doing?
The interview questions were very scripted and had no depth to them.
I literally was not asked a question.
The Principals of the company are very concerned about maintaining Cornerstone's company culture. The CEO, COO, and EVPs consider Cornerstone's culture to be the #1 differentiator in the marketplace. Skills and experience are important, but without the ability and drive to adapt and maintain Cornerstone's culture, you won't reach your fullest potential. Many questions revolved around my views on company culture, how I relate to others, how I treat others, etc. The terms "Servant Heart" and "Family First" were mentioned many times by senior leadership. This is what they believe to their core. The CEO said that "This isn't a mortgage company, this is a support company."
