The interviewer asked my age along with other inappropriate questions.
They mainly wanted to know about your experience, so no generic questions like 'strength and weaknesses', 'why should we hire you', etc.
They asked me what my desired compensation was, and I gave them a range. HR confirmed that this was within their budget/appropriate for the position. Then the offer I recieved was 30% below the range that we had discussed with no explanation.
