was literally told they dont believe in burnout and if you’re feeling that way you don’t like your job enough. could not recommend any less. i pulled out of the process when the CEO said this.

Absolute disaster!! 1) They responded to me via LinkedIn saying I’ve been shortlisted for a Business Development Associate position which I did not apply for. 2) I applied for this position 3 months ago (they saw my resume 6 days ago) and their response was to send them a 2 minute video covering 3 questions. I told them this was not the position I applied for and that 2 days is not realistic as I have other work commitments alongside it being unfair that I applied 3 months ago and only just heard back. I’m having to work 50+ hours this week to meet very urgent deadlines at my current organisation so there is no sense of consideration from the recruiter. Their response was as follows: “You applied for the role 7 days ago not months ago. Also the video is 2 minutes long 48 hours is plenty of time in order to do a short 45 seconds - 2 minutes video.” I then showed them the screenshots clearly stating: 1) The position I applied for 2) It very clearly stating “applied 3 months ago” 3) It also very clearly saying “resume downloaded 6 days ago” I then told them I completely get that it’s only 2 minutes but I told them there needs to be time factored in for preparation for these kinds of questions (they asked questions where you’d need to research the business I.e. why are you interested in this opportunity and 2 qualities which would make you successful in the role). I then stated to the in house recruiter to withdraw my application. Their response… well… I’ll let you judge for yourself so enjoy reading the rest. “As you can see from your second image you applied to my job add 6 days ago. Each job advert is controlled by a different recruiter. You applied to mine 6 days ago and have been responded to along with the other candidates. Your application will not be taken forward concerning the above. Best of luck on your search.” Firstly, I only submitted the one application which was 3 months ago. The second image was the “resume downloaded 6 days ago” as in they downloaded my resume 6 days ago. Secondly, I told them I applied for the Finance Graduate position but this was completely ignored. Thirdly, I told them to withdraw my application so I don’t understand why they are acting as if they’re the ones declining me when in reality I declined them. Summary If you’ve made it this far to reading this, please respect yourself and do not apply here. 1) Check the salaries, they clearly don’t pay well 2) If they can treat us like this now, imagine how they will be if we were actually working for them.
