Interview
La entrevista fue por medio de llamada y la segunda por medio de Zoom. Ambas entrevistas fueron completamente en inglés, al parecer con personas de UK. La comunicación de la empresa es rápida y directa.

I applied online. I interviewed at deVere Group (Sandton) in Jan 2017
Interview
It was a morning to midday experience where shortlisted candidates are taken through a day at the offices and then given an overview of the company and then interviewed individually throughout the morning. The regional manager interviewed candidates and then eliminated candidates till a smaller group is left which they refine to pick the ones they want. It is an interesting experience as you get to meet other candidates and know their brief background. I wasn't a big fan of the regional manager as he came across very arrogant and showy off.
Candidates sat in an open office setup as their staff worked as per usual as we ran through presentations of the company's history etc.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at deVere Group (Melbourne) in Jan 2020
Interview
After many discussions on email, phone and video calls with various people, I received letter of offer. Then was advised of compulsory training, initially as paid arrangement but then changed to unpaid online due to Covid-19. I was ok with all these so far. But then after the training - which I had to take time off current regular work - there was no follow up correspondence. I sent an email to HR within a few days of training completion and no reply was received. I understand that Covid has meant changes to many things, but the discussion/interview/ training process took almost 4 months all up! It would be ethical for them to at least do an update - even if it is just to say "we're sorry but the position is no longer possible due to Covid-19 at the assigned country". What's the point of insisting on training and wasting my time (and their resources) on it? Reading the feedbacks on Glassdoor revealed how unethical this company can be so perhaps this lack of closure from them is to be expected.
