Boiler room style - no ethics in the recruitment process. The desperate agent was indicative of a toxic culture and high staff turnover. Beware the veneer, it seems there are practices in this organisation that you would not want to be a part of. It's unfortunate as it seems the founder/ CEO is an ok, but this will never be about serving clients needs it will be about hitting targets at any cost.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you need a base salary? Why be limited by that?
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at deVere Group (Kennedy Space Center, FL) in Mar 2019
Interview
Absolute joke!!!!! They contact YOU and then have you committ to a live stream of their CEO rambling on about the same things you could have read on google in four minutes. You then ate asked to go through another round of questions and then asked to have another interview at which point you are FINALLY told the information that this will be an overseas role....... something you should be told right away as of course that is a massive deal breaker for most. I think the recruiters are KPI’d on how many people they get to live stream rather than having suitable people and therefore lie to you and hide things.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at deVere Group in Feb 2019
Interview
After watching the webinar with Nigel Green I did the two McQuaig tests required and two interviews. That was the second time, first time was in 2016
Recruiters have an attitude like they are bothered and that they do us a favor and it's not their job.
Like the first time three years ago I had no news and no answer to my emails or calls.
I think it might have to do with age discrimination as I am over 50.
