I don't remember anything particularly difficult or unexpected.
Why are you interested in this position?
1. chose three topics, what kind of statistical analysis you will use; 2. find an academic paper of your choice focused on China that came out during the past 6 months—working papers and/or pre-prints are fine—and to produce an article of 400-600 words summarising its findings.
He gave me the topic of their festival, and asked for ideas surrounding that topic (e.g any speakers I could think of, debates I would host).
Who would I invite as speakers to the festival? Why these people?
