The company praises it self in having an average employee tenure in excess of ten years. Team spirit is of paramount importance to this company - they want / need people to mutually supportive. In addition to ensuring that on onboarded persons are motivated and competent, I felt, more than in any other interview process I have gone through, that my personality matched the culture. The interviewers asked straight forward questions about my aspirations.

What are your goals? Are you willing to take an entry level position instead of management since the company only promotes internally? What would prevent you from being successful at this job? Talk to three people. After you are in the store and see what the job is really like, they ask if you can see yourself doing that job: Do you think you can do this/that? I can't remember how it was worded, but in the first round interview, I was asked something along the lines of, "What do you *not* want to do?" Or "What is something that would make you *not* want to accept this position?"
