I was asked to critique some work done by the person interviewing me. It's always hard to tell someone face-to-face that they need to pay more attention to fine detail.

All the questions were pretty standard art and design questions, but he was very interested in the fact that I worked for my parent's small business. He liked that I had some knowledge of how a small business runs.

"Why are you looking to leave your current job?" That's always the hardest question.
The questions weren't difficult, they were just created to expose how you're not good enough. For instance, you could choose to focus on how you've production managed for an Anton Corbijn shoot, and the interviewers would say, "yeah, but he does movies now". Or, after being asked, you could respond with your favorite photography style, and they would say, "We don't like that style here". Basically, you can't win.
All the questions were pretty standard interview questions, there weren't any truly unexpected questions. There was an emphasis on professionalism and being able to handle speaking with upper management within the company in an intelligent and professional way, and asking if I would be comfortable with that.
How do you deal with conflict? What do you do on the weekends? And with whom? Did you know that Black women get their confidence through their hair?
