The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart (Laramie, WY) in Aug 2011
Interview
One on one with a assistant manager he asked lots of questions based on past experience. How I handled difficult coworkers or customers? How I handled pressure? How I had too much work and deadlines how did you deal with it? All pretty basic questions designed to check a persons personality. Then he left and a manager came in and asked different questions but along the same line. That manager then took me to sign background check and other papers and then they gave me the job offer. Both of the people who interviewed me were very nice and laid back. They understood how all the questions sounded pretty much the same and that they were just doing their jobs and had to read the questions that the computer outputted to them. I was dressed in dress slacks and a collared button up shirt and dress shoes for the interview. The manager said she could put me to work right away the way I was dressed.

Question 1
Explain a time when you had to deal with a difficult person and how did you handle it?
Phone interview and then asked to come in for in person interview. The hiring manager asked typical interview questions. Why do you want to work here? And asked bout scheduling availability,
There was a lot of questions but overall it went pretty decent. They were your standard interview questions. I am happy with the outcome but maybe I could do better next time.
The interview was brief but straight forward. I interviewed with someone and was done within 15 minutes. They asked a few questions about myself and past job experience. Then I progressed to the next steps in the hiring process. The next steps where orientation.
