      Retail Advisor Interview

      May 5, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Londra, Inghilterra
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Vodafone (Londra, Inghilterra) in May 2017

      Interview

At first you submit your CV, once that's done you will be emailed in regards to a video interview which is simple and easy to follow as long as you have researched the company and know what to say. Once you have completed that, someone will contact you for an interview however, mine did take up to two weeks but the role I applied for had already been taken so I did my own research and looked for other vacancies near me and had found one, contacted them and they set a date for my face to face interview. This was my favourite, my manager was so lovely so my nerves did automatically die down straight away, first I did a presentation (you will be emailed a brief beforehand), following that I did a role play and after I had my interview. Overall, I loved the experience and definitely made me aware that there are jobs out there who will take you for the person you are and will love you! I was so nervous and was trying to read as many reviews as possible but I realised some are very outdated and it was hard. My advice to you would be act yourself and be confident, it will pay off! Good luck

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Vodafone (Selby, England) in Nov 2018

      Interview

First of all I made the quest after that one day after I receive an email that say I will be called for a telephone interview in the next day, I was called at 11 in the morning there was a problem with my signal the operator seems too busy to wait another 5 minutes because she said that she has another interview in 20 minutes, and we managed to have an interview a few hours later at 4 a clock, it was the shortest interview I ever had, she asks me: are you studying? and I said I don't know I'm thinking to go to Uni next year, but I don't know I said that I will put the job my first priority and it's just a wish to go to university after that I said clearly that if I have a full time job and secure I will not go and anyway I don't know if go or not, so her answer was: If you are thinking of going to University next year, it’s not something you can 100% commit to. Vodafone is looking for people that can stay with the company long term, but with the potential of your going to University and without knowing what your timetable would be etc, we cannot currently progress your application. I may not be the best candidate for the job, but still I deserve a chance, this is not fair.. this is how i feel right now...
