Virgin Active interview questions

I applied at the Brighton branch. This has to be one of the best interview's I have been to. Andy, who interviewed me made me feel relaxed and calm to answer my question and assured me not to feel nervous. He got to the point and asked me very basic customer service questions. Nothing too daunting! We then discussed hours and role specification. I have high social anxiety and believe me when I say I felt relaxed.

I was invited to an interview by email and we just quickly arranged the appointment with the club manager. I came a little bit early, while I was waiting I was talking to the other staff, as I was really interested in the club itself. My interview with the manager went very well. I was myself, we had a great chat. The manager kept asking me if I had any questions. I had, but now I know not the right ones. The manager let me know, he will have a couple of other interviews over the week and then will inform me, if he will invite me for another interview. I was very confident and felt I was amazing. On the next day I was informed by the recruitment team my application was unsuccessful. I was said and upset, but respected and trusted the manager’s decision and appreciated the quick response, it showed my time was valued. I was thinking a lot where did I fail, what did I say wrong. After going through on all possible scenarios I emailed to the manager. I thanked for the opportunity, and asked for a feedback. Within a very short time, he got back to me with a very friendly and useful response. This all on a Sunday evening, which also showed what kind of human being he was. Then I realised, on the the interview I was an amazing fitness professional, but not a sales person. The feedback helped me a lot to be better prepared for my next trials. That was my first interview for ages though. I am really grateful for the experience and feedback I got. I just regret the fact I lost my chance in my number one club.
