I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Amsterdam) in Jun 2025
Interview
Applied through referral > call with recruiter > interview with hiring manager > take-home assignment while scheduling other interviews > technical competencies interview [would have been followed by Jam session and 2 more interviews focused on different competences, but I got rejected after the technical competencies interview]
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All questions are experience-based ("Tell me about the time when...") then the interviewer digs deeper and asks clarifying questions, so it's best to prepare well and remember your past projects in great detail (metrics, processes, team, tech stack, challenges).
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Uber
Interview
Case with a product manager, jam session, panel with another pm solving another case, engineering, data, design, final chat with hiring manager again to determine fit. People did not seem interested or present at all to do some collaborative thinking.

Question 1
Basic product sense and product execution questions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uber in Nov 2024
Interview
I got the interview by emailing the hiring manager. Role was exactly what I did at my company.
First round was a small chat with the hiring manager. It was on what I did and what the role was about.
Second interview was to prepare a presentation and present. I spent a week on this. Presented it to 2 people working on the same project. The presentation went okay but I could sense they wanted me to drill down more on one solution and hatch it out completely. And that was also the feedback.
I got a rejection email soon after that interview.
