I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Uber in Aug 2024
Interview
Get an internal referral, apply, complete assessment (easy, had you attempt to schedule meetings... simple Outlook tasks), then phone screening/talk more about the role/"pass along your resume". Then if you pass, they allow you to interview with the Hiring Manager. If they like you, then you move into final stage which is "usually a total of two hours over zoom, split into two separate panel meetings."
Interview isn't hard per say, but it was very hard to get and then harder once rejected without any proper reason. It seems like a lot of mini-side quests, but if that's you're thing, go for it!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you want to work here, what's your experience in sales
Phone screen with recruiter, next round is 30 min video call with hiring manager, last round is an additional 30 min video call followed by a mock presentation to a 3 person panel
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time when you oversaw the creation of a process from beginning to end
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (New York, NY) in Sep 2022
Interview
It was thorough, Uber communicated well and I was impressed with how quickly it moved. The recruiter did a good job of going salary expectations and next steps during the first call.
